  Ribbon Salad  Dissolve:
 1 package strawberry, cherry or rasberry
 1 cup hot water
Add:
 1 pint of frozen whole cranberry sauce or 1 pound can.
 2 tbsp. lemon juice
When mixture cools, pour it into lighly oiled small bread pan, or bowl.
Chill until thickened.
Soften and cream:
 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
Fold in:
 1 cup cream, whipped
 1/2 cup nutmeats, chopped.  Spoon cheese and cream mixture over thickened cranberry/jello mixture and freeze, unwrapped, about 3 hours or over night. 
Remove from freezer and allow salad to stand about 10 minutes at room temperature.
Slip frozen salad onto freezer foil, wrap and store in freezer
